Unibroue brand manual

These are some examples of the branding I did for another project in my Branding Identity class. We were to pick a brand, any brand, and create a brand manual. I chose Unibroue, a brewing company based in Quebec that makes really delicious beer. I've been interested in their branding for a couple years now. They have a distinctive style; it's very whimsical, and has a lot of fantasy elements referring to different legends. In my research, I found that many people love their style, while others absolutely hate it. The labels look like romantic paintings. I thought it would be interesting to go with a more modern approach. I kept some of the fantasy because the different legends tied to their beers is one of the things that makes this brand stand out.
