Chicago Children’s Museum misc

In the spring of 2016 I interned at the Chicago Children’s Museum. It was a wonderful experience, largely due to the fact that though I was the design team workhorse, I was always encouraged to participate in developing concepts promoting new events and exhibits. Almost every project combined a variety of skills, including illustration, photo retouching, designing layouts with attention to typography, and in one case, strait up old school cross stitching.

These are some examples of the work I did there. A large portion includes social media graphics destined for Facebook and Twitter. There is also some event signage for the Hide and Seek benefit event. I also did a few miscellaneous print pieces such as post cards, handouts, and signage for smaller events. Finally, there is an example of the Zoom Room exhibit signage. Zoom Room was the major exhibit we were working on during my time there, and I spent the better part of a week simply retouching, and outlining toy cars to be used in all the the marketing material.
