Brilliantpackaging revamp

The packaging revamp of our LED lights line was one of the earliest projects I worked on at Product Works. Not much effort had been put into packaging before and emphasis had been placed on slapping on every possible bit of information with little regard for aesthetics. The new packaging is photography forward, emphasizing how holiday lights make people feel, without forgetting the technical specifications that buyers find important.

Briefly we considered a craft paper option for certain online retailers, but ultimately decided to proceed with the full color version only. I still think that it was a nice idea and I was happy with how well my illustrations worked within the concept.
